Dropbox is one of the most important software and everyone wants to keep their files safe. But you need internet 24/7 to keep your files updated. Actually dropbox automatically synchronize files from your system’s dropbox folder. But the problem arises when you are under proxy server say behind college proxy or corporate proxy server. There you can’t get connected directly to the dropbox server. You need to do some settings which we will discuss today.
Step 1. Download and install Dropbox.
Step 2. Install CC Proxy and do the necessary setting. If you are running Window 8 on your PC then Visit here. Otherwise just install and open CC Proxy.

Download CC Proxy Now do the settings manually as shown in the image.
Go to Option<<Advanced<<Cascading

Step 3. Insert your Proxy address, Port, Login ID and Password. Click on OK and Save. Minimize CCProxy window. Do not close it.
Step 4. Go to Control Panel<<Internet option<<Connection<<Lan Settings. Now put your PC IP address and port as 808 as shown in the image.

Step 5. Open Internet Explorer. It would not ask for any login id and password. You can see CCProxy graph as well.

Step 6. Go to the Dropbox icon on taskbar and go to settings, then Preferences, then Proxies.
Insert your PC IP address and port 808 as shown in the image. Click OK and Save.

Step 7. You are done! Now you can see green icon over dropbox icon at taskbar. Copy and paste some files on dropbox folder and check it is working or not. Any doubt please comment below.
