For many people, their next phone will be the Samsung Galaxy A55. The Galaxy A5x model is usually his second most popular and second most successful Samsung phone after this year’s Galaxy S Ultra model.
Unboxing is easy – Galaxy A55 comes with a SIM tool and USB cable. You must bring your own charger and suitcase.
Samsung Galaxy A55 in testing
The Galaxy A35 is probably more similar to the Galaxy A55 than all its predecessors. This year it will fit a screen, battery and similar camera system. However, the Galaxy A55 has advantages in a few key areas.
First of all, it is powered by the faster and more efficient 4nm Exynos 1480 chipset. There’s also a better ultra-wide camera.
But above all, the quality of the workmanship makes the difference. The Galaxy A35 has a plastic frame and unidentified glass on the back, while the Galaxy A55 has a textured metal frame with grooves and Gorilla Glass Victus+ on both sides.
This year’s model makes gains in key areas. The new A55 boasts a bigger display, a more powerful chipset, more RAM in the base configuration and a tougher and more premium build.

Samsung Galaxy A55 under test
The Galaxy A55 feels great to use. The screen is bright and responsive, and we like One UI 6.1 on Android 14. The grooved flat frame and glass panel make the phone feel solid and premium. It’s not inconceivable that you’re fooling people into thinking you have a Galaxy S24+.
