This article will give you instruction to Download Java Software or to Update Java for Mozilla, Internet Explorer or to free download Java for desktop.
You may have come across this problem several times, where you need Java to download some file or run a script. You would get this message as error. Today I was downloading files from “Scopus Document Download Manager” and faced this problem.
Java is required to run Document Download Manager and it is either not installed on your computer or out of date.
You may like to update your Mozila Plugin but in my case it did not help. Every time I tried to update my Java, a command prompt used to open and display an Error message. Then I came across this solution. All you need to download the Java Software to install offline.
Download the 27.7 MB file for Windows and 50 MB file Mac and so on to install it offline. Check this link Download Java.
Do not download that 893 KB file.
Once downloaded, close Mozilla, Internet Explorer etc and run the application. You are free to download files now. 🙂
