Today I am writing on “How to configure your Android Phone internet settings behind College Proxy Wall” or “How to connect to internet under college proxy in your Android Phones″. Internet Settings in “Samsung Grand, Xperia, Micromax and other Android Phones”. “How to run Google Play Store under College Proxy Wall”.
Android Phones are great but without internet they are dead. They are just like budget phones except games. So internet is must. And you will regret more if you are in college and have proxy settings in your college. In laptop you can connect to internet through proxy setting and LDAP ID and password but there is no such facility in Android Phones. So I am bringing here a solution.
Install CC Proxy and do the necessary setting. If you are running Window 8 on your PC then Visit here. Otherwise just install and open CC Proxy. Go to Option< Advanced< Cascading and do the setting.

Download CC Proxy
Change your ‘Internet Settings’ also. Go to Control Panel<<Internet Options<<Connections<<Lan Settings. Insert your PC IP Address and Port 808 (Taken from CCProxy).
Check if CC Proxy is working fine or not. When you open your CC Proxy, you will find graph.
Now make an access point in your PC. It is not necessary if you have Wi-Fi in your college. Just switch on your Phone’s wifi and connect to the server. Follow the below images.
Let me clarify that my PC is connected through LAN wire which is having an ip say 192.168.65.37 but I am connecting my phone with college wifi which gives ip 192.168.67.37. It will not affect your settings. Ok.
In the above image, you can see that I have Dynamic (DHCP) IP Settings. Tick on ‘Show Advanced Settings’ and do the following settings. Give your Proxy Hostname (PC IP address) and Proxy Port (808).
You can make your IP Address static. Check the above image for making your ip address static. But I would say that leave it Dynamic. Here I have entered my IP address and Gateway. Rest it took automatically. Right image is showing the details when you click on Connected Network like I am connected to ‘iiitm’.
Now we are done. Open Google Play Store. I am sure if you followed every step carefully, you are ready to download any free apps, books. Enjoy but do not forget to like, comment and share.

Sorry for late response. In Android there are few apps which do not work but Watsapp works on Windows Phone.

hey sir, in step 3, u hv mentioned to connect to the open college wifi..ryt? bt in my college, it never gets connected. And also Plse tell hw to find college wifi’s ip?
Open college wifi refers to college wifi. It may not be open and must be password connected. First connect normally without any proxy settings and note down the IP address and other settings. After that you can use these setting in your ccproxy.
And id my PC-IP changes frequently because is DHCP and not a static-IP. I have to change in CCProxy my IP every time or is another solution?
